Boundaries are our energetic containers - how we manage our life force both internally and externally. How we relate to setting and maintaining boundaries is hugely important - boundaries can have a positive or negative impact depending upon how we use their inherent power. Mindfully managed, boundaries support and protect us, and feed our spirits; when boundaries are applied incorrectly, we become depleted and energetically compromised. When we become skillful in setting appropriate and healthy boundaries, we actually create more freedom and joy in our lives!
Join Abby in collaboration with Bluebird Sky Yoga where you'll learn actionable tools to create a positive and elevating relationship with setting boundaries. We'll begin the workshop by defining different kinds of boundaries and how they impact our lives. We'll discuss the potential for stigma around boundary setting, and how setting boundaries actually makes us more compassionate towards ourselves and others. Then we'll explore a yoga practice that will be intelligently designed to help you to find and feel your most aligned self. You'll be given specific tools to learn how you can create a safe container for your own individual life force. We'll end the workshop with journaling, and a discussion of how you can use these embodied and actionable tools not only on your yoga mat, but also in your day-to-day life.
