Abby’s spiritual journey kicked off at age 15, when her mother brought her to her first yoga class. Since her teens, she has been inspired deeply by the teachings of yoga, and captivated by the inner-workings of the physical, energetic, and emotional bodies. As a long-time yoga practitioner, healer, and energyworker, Abby has a uniquely holistic view of functional anatomy, energetics, and movement that she weaves into her teachings and private sessions. Abby is fascinated by how each individual receives healing, and through her work she gives individuals the tools to lead their most empowered and fulfilled lives.
Abby began teaching yoga in 2008 after completing her first 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Trainings through Forrest Yoga. After that, Abby dove deep and continued with another 200-Hour Training through YogaWorks with Natasha Rizopoulos, and other advanced yoga trainings in Forrest, Rocket, Yin Yoga, and Tias Little’s SATYA teachings. Abby attended Massage School in 2010, and is a Licensed and Nationally Certified bodyworker. She has continued to grow her fascination of the body through multiple bodywork trainings - including Yoga Bodyworker trainings with Jambo Truong and Brian Campbell. Abby is inspired greatly by Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy with her teacher Scott Zamurut.
After owning and running her own yoga studio and private bodywork practice in DC for years, Abby migrated to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she now practices and teaches. A Teacher's Teacher, Abby has written, created, and taught her own 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, and is a Guest Instructor for other 200-Hour and 300-Hour Yoga Trainings in topics like energetics & empathing, ethics, languaging & cuing, and holding space.
In addition to her work as a healer, Abby also works one-on-one with empaths, healers, and teachers to offer spiritual guidance and mentorship. She also runs ceremony for the Solstices, Equinoxes, and Full/New Moons. Outside of her work with yogis, healers, and empaths, Abby volunteers at Felines and Friends, enjoys reading fantasy novels and swimming in hot springs, and snuggling with her two cats, Billy and Sambu.
