One of the most powerful ways we can support and empower ourselves is by grounding into the rhythms of the moon, sun, and stars. Creating ritual around the seasons helps us to live more authentically and in alignment with nature. The Winter Solstice, sometimes called Midwinter or Yule, is the day of the year with the most darkness, the longest night. On this day of energetic shift, we begin to be blessed with more hours of sunlight as we shift back towards equal day and night.
Join Abby for this special event where, together, we will honor the powerful celestial energies at play and plug into the wisdom that is offered to us during the shift in balance between light and dark.
Our circle will open with a discussion of the energetics and particular astrological alignment of the Winter Solstice. Then, we will ground into the present moment, center into ourselves, and invoke the support of our guides and ancestors through ceremony and song. We'll move through a yoga practice that will weave together pranayama, somatic movement, hatha flow, and guided visualization to empower and connect you with your heart and spirit. Each person will have the opportunity to pull an Oracle Card and explore inquiry and journaling to clarify their unique intention for the upcoming Winter season.
Bring a journal, pen, and anything sacred or special to you to add to our communal altar. Bring your yoga mat and props (strap and block).
