Join Abby for this special workshop that weaves together energetics with functional anatomy to strengthen and support the keystone of the body - the lower back and pelvis. The functionality of the pelvis, and it's surrounding joints and supporting muscles play an enormous role in our day-to-day lives, including supporting our ability to stand in our power, walk our true path, and to physically support the knees and lower back.
This workshop will begin with discussion about common physical and energetic compensatory patterns, basic functional anatomy, and how this information applies to our asana practice. Next, we'll move through a super juicy, therapeutic yoga practice designed to drop you into the flow state and build subtle awareness of the physical and energetic body. The practice will be accessible to all levels of yoga practitioner, and will focus on postures and movements that address the lumbar vertebrae, sacrum, and pelvic bones.
You'll walk away from this workshop feeling deeply grounded, and with greater knowledge of how to create strength, intelligence, and longevity in the hips and lower back.
