Morning Practices: The Yogi's Path Training

Looking to deepen your practice, or get a taste of what it’s like to participate in Yoga Teacher Training? Join Abby for any of the 2-Hour Morning Practices of The Yogi’s Path: 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training - you can drop in to a single session, or purchase a 5-Pass. Each Morning Practice includes ceremony with intention setting to ground and center, smudge ritual, and singing. Then once we’ve landed, the session will continue with a deep dive into that weekend’s theme of practice through pranayama and asana. Sessions will weave together yoga asana, pranayama, and meditation with functional anatomy and alignment.

Each weekend will have a particular physical/asana theme (see the schedule), as well as specific intentions and energetic practices that will increase in challenge and intensity as the training progresses.

Through these group practices, students will learn how to apply the principles of yoga to their individual bodies and lifestyles. Through experiential learning, students will tune into the physical, emotional, and energetic bodies in more and more nuanced ways. Not only will your personal practice deepen and become physically stronger, students will gain insight on how to approach each moment of their personal practice and life with right effort, kindness, and intentionality.

*All morning practices are held at The Medicine Shop, which is located at 1836B Cerrillos Road.*

Saturdays | 10:30am - 12:30pm

Sundays | 9:15 - 11:15am

  • WEEKEND 8 | June 3/4 - Flexed Shoulder Backbends

  • WEEKEND 9 | June 24/25 - Twists & Twisting Hip Postures

  • WEEKEND 10 | July 8/9 - Arm Balances

  • WEEKEND 11 | July 22/23 - Sidebends, Shoulder Binds, & Seated Postures


Personal Investment:

  • $35 per clasS

*Students must bring their own yoga mat and their own props (one yoga block and one strap - 8ft recommended)

*Morning Practices can be applied towards Yoga Alliance Continuing Education requirements.
