Join Abby in this special series where she'll weave together knowledge from over a decade of working with bodies as a massage therapist and yoga teacher to offer information that's practical, accessible, and applicable. Each workshop will begin with functional anatomy - we'll discuss how the joints are meant to naturally move, compensatory patterns, over-achieving muscles, and other important issues. Then, we'll move through a therapeutic yoga practice focused on creating strength and intelligence in the area of focus. You'll learn how to frame your understanding of anatomy in a way that is individualized to your body, and how to use your musculature to support safe strengthening and opening in your yoga practice.
